Activities during the week

We have a wide range of activities in Royston during the week. Here you will find what’s on at Royston Evangelical Church – including lots for children and youth.

Weekday meetings

Bible fellowship - Mondays at 10am

On Monday mornings at 10am, come and join us for a women’s Bible study, tea and chat in a child-friendly atmosphere. Children are welcome to come and play while the study takes place!

Thursdays at 10.30am

Each week at 10.30am, we meet to study the Bible together and play board games.

Homegroups

We have a number of different home groups who meet weekly to reflect on the Sunday sermon, to study the Bible together and to pray. Currently, we have homegroups meeting on Tuesday at 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, and Friday at 2pm. Contact us for details of the Homegroups and where they meet.

Food Bank

We run the Royston Food Bank, which is open on Wednesday mornings from 9am to 11am and Saturday mornings from 9am to 11am. Donations are always welcome at other times, when the church building is open for other activities.

Children and Youth

All our helpers are fully DBS checked and trained.

Rooted. Mondays 5:15–6pm.

Rooted is a group for young people aged 11-18. We meet every Monday during term-time from 5:15pm to 6pm at the home of Jo and Jonathan. At Rooted, our aim is to relax, make friends, and learn about Jesus.  A typical Monday evening involves chatting, catching up, having a nice hot drink and spending time looking together at the Bible.
