Activities during the week

We have a wide range of activities in Royston during the week. Here you will find what’s on at Royston Evangelical Church – including lots for children and youth.

Weekday meetings

Bible fellowship - Mondays at 10am

On Monday mornings at 10am, come and join us for a women’s Bible study, tea and chat in a child-friendly atmosphere. Children are welcome to come and play while the study takes place!

Thursdays at 10.30am

Each week at 10.30am, we meet to study the Bible together and play board games. On the 2nd Thursday of the month we start at 12.30 and have lunch together with a short talk.

We meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings each week at 8pm to reflect on the Sunday sermon, to study the Bible together and to pray. Contact us for details of the Homegroups and where they meet.

Friday Afternoon

As well as the Thursday evening Homegroups, there is an afternoon Homegroup for people who are not free in the evenings on Fridays at 2pm. Contact us for details of where we meet.

Children and Youth

All our helpers are fully DBS checked and trained.

Messy church. 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6.15pm

Messy church is aimed at children and their parents/grandparents/carers, and it’s designed to be fun! We spend time doing craft, singing songs, and listening to a short 10 minute talk from the Bible about Jesus. We finish around 7.30 with some drinks and cakes.

Rooted. Mondays 6–7pm.

Rooted is a group for young people aged 11-14. We meet every Monday during term-time from 6pm to 7pm at 2 Priory Lane. At Rooted, our aim is to relax, make friends, and learn about Jesus.  A typical Monday evening involves baking, playing games and time looking together at the Bible. This term, we'll be studying Mark's gospel.
